Grow your business with Goldman Sachs

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme.

Applications for the next course are now open - details below. Here is how one member, Sally Newall of Simply Ice Cream has benefitted.

"I decided to go on the programme after I attended a meeting arranged by Produced in Kent along with the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce where I met one of the course promoters, Anne Salisbury. She gave me a basic overview of the course and a previous course attendee talked about how much it had helped him focus and implement systems within his business that would enable him to grow.

The course itself is funded by Goldman Sachs and is an intensive 4 months, with 3 residentials in Leeds and Oxford during set weeks and then 4 hours of Skype meetings a week, with additional hours set aside to complete the work, so you do need to be aware that it will take up a chunk of time which as SME's is always challenging!

However the rewards and benefits are huge. I have always worked with business consultants over the years and I can say without doubt that they have helped me on my journey, giving me encouragement and helping to keep me sane?! The Goldman Sach's course gave me another level of insight and allowed me to look at the business from all angles. The lecturers are fantastic, absolute experts in their fields and the course structure enables you to discuss the content with your team members, to implement structure within your business and feed it back into your Growth Plan which you work on throughout the 4 months and then submit at the end (without submitting the growth plan you don't 'pass' the course which then allows you to join the Alumni where you have access to further courses and support moving forward)

For me the biggest benefit was meeting other business owners, hearing their journeys, their successes and struggles, I now have a network of people that I know I can get help and support from on my journey and learn from both them and the extended alumni.

I would be really happy to have a chat with anyone considering applying for the course."
